Project description

In the ADDIRA project, solutions are to be researched by means of additive manufacturing in order to miniaturize complex sensors and thereby increase performance on the one hand and robustness on the other. The project consists of the following work packages:

  •  Definition of requirements for the research of new additive manufacturing technologies for the radar sensor are defined and from this the specifications of the
  • Demonstrator derived and identified
  • Development of a digital twin for simulative validation of the development activities
  • waveguide antenna (assembly on printed circuit board front side)
  • Additive assembly of radar sensor
  • Production of demonstrators in the form of functional radar sensors using the developed process flows and technologies
  • Characterization of the demonstrators produced during the project
  • Technology and product demonstrators for comparison with the simulation models and as a benchmark to reference assemblies
