Students on the Master's degree programs in Financial Management & Controlling (FMC) and Taxation and Consulting (SB) at THI Business School were delighted to welcome exciting guests from KPMG AG to their joint course "Project Controlling & Turnaround Management". Roland Sabov, Manager at KPMG Turnaround & Restructuring, and Alexander Flynn, Assistant Manager at KPMG Turnaround & Restructuring, held a workshop on the practice of restructuring consulting using the example of preparing a restructuring concept in accordance with the IDW S 6 standard. Based on a case study from the aviation industry, solution approaches for various practical issues, such as the development of specific restructuring measures, were elaborated and discussed with the students.

Prof. Dr. Alois Rauscher, Professor of Internal and External Accounting at the THI Business School, was delighted to have the two specialists from the renowned auditing and consulting firm KPMG for his lecture and to be able to provide the students with lively insights into the reality of the restructuring consulting. The company KPMG was also presented in more detail and entry opportunities for future careers were outlined. There was a lively exchange between the students and experts.
